A leading university in South Africa seeks a Senior Administrator for Procurement. The role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and providing administrative support. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and significant procurement experience. This is a permanent position with competitive remuneration.
The Procurement Department invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Responsible for managing the supplier database, vetting of suppliers, acting as liaison with service providers, and ensuring that suppliers meet the mandatory and service delivery requirements according to the Procurement policy and service level agreements. To provide functional support and end-user support, maintenance, and reports on supplier database performance. Responsible for managing general purchasing by ensuring that requisitions for non-asset goods and services are processed effectively and efficiently, in compliance with RU policies and procedures.
A relevant degree / national higher diploma (3 years of study / NQF level 7) in related fields like Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Management, plus approximately 6 years of relevant experience. Such experience should include:

Grade 13, Basic Pensionable Salary: R539,568 per annum; Cost to Company: approximately R710,658 per annum.
