Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered generators.
• Conduct routine servicing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding on various generator brands and models.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including alternators, control panels, and fuel systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Assist with on-site breakdowns and emergency repairs, as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

• Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working with diesel generators (installation, maintenance, and repair).
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in generators.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
