Job description

We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at our JHB SOUTH branch.

Mechanic Requirements

Requirements / Personal Attributes:

1. Presentable appearance and sober habits
2. Excellent timekeeping skills
3. No criminal record
4. Strong interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Ability to train co-workers
7. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
8. A working understanding of electrical DBs and wiring
9. Experience with diagnostics equipment and ECU’s
10. Computer literate
11. Strong technical background
12. Knowledge of reconning starters, alternators, and all electrical components
13. Knowledge of ECU’s and key coding
14. Knowledge of programming ECU’s
15. Ability to work in a team environment
16. Set high standards and well-defined realistic goals both personally and within the team
17. Ability to carry out work in accordance with professional standards and thorough knowledge in the field
18. Knowledge of siphoning fuel from a car
