Position Summary

An intermediate level role responsible for operational compression jobs, including operation of compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. Provides feedback for operational policies and material forecasts. Must have diagnostic and repair skills and may assist other field positions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and perform job activities according to Kodiak's procedures and goals.
  2. Troubleshoot complex repairs and overhauls, operate equipment.
  3. Build and maintain customer relationships.
  4. Manage inventory and communicate with Supply Chain to ensure availability of parts.
  5. Maintain equipment to ensure 98% or better mechanical availability.
  6. Participate in HSE meetings and adhere to safety protocols.
  7. Keep assigned units clean and operationally ready.
  8. Complete necessary reports and documentation.
  9. Provide 24/7 coverage, including overtime and on-call rotations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in compression, production, or related fields.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of compressor systems and components.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.
  • Certifications: Cat, Waukesha, Ariel preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical & Other Requirements
  • Operate heavy equipment and work in various physical positions.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in noisy environments, outdoors in extreme weather.
  • Wear PPE and adhere to safety standards.
  • Use computers and office equipment as needed.
