- Executes the “Schedule Work” element of the Operating Model.
- Complies with quality specifications and authority levels set out in the documentation.

- Reviews the Work Order Task Status Report daily: to schedule newly approved work, assist in setting the schedule, and track upcoming work.
- Works collaboratively across business units to communicate timing and impact of scheduled work.
- Identifies and escalates critical issues that threaten resource procurement, affecting scheduling for completion by the Required Date.
- Escalates to the appropriate authority if scheduling by the Required Date requires additional downtime or resources.
- Schedules tasks to minimize impact on operating performance without exceeding the Required Date for completion.
- Ensures compliance with applicable legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Schedules approved work orders for execution before the Required Date.
- Supports the Work Management process to ensure all approved work is completed by the Required Date.
- Produces periodic reports (weekly and monthly) comparing scheduled versus actual maintenance activities and resource usage, and develops other reports as needed.
- Keeps management informed by sharing concise, timely oral and written information.
- Participates actively in processes to achieve outcomes for implementation into the production scheduling and ERP system.
- Produces information to develop the Routine Operating Schedule.
- Analyzes results to update risk assessments and the Routine Operating Schedule for continuous improvement.
- Reviews systems and procedures regularly within the area to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provides leadership and supervision for continual process and procedure improvements.
This role is at a C5 Level reporting to the Section Manager Operations Planning.
Qualifications:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 3-5 years of production experience in the mining industry.
- Work knowledge of client disciplines – Mining.
- Ability to schedule maintenance activities.
- Proficiency in Deswik (CAD, Sched & LHS) or other relevant Open Pit Planning & Scheduling packages.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a high-performance and agile environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Code 8 driver license.
