The Role

You will be responsible for :

1. Strong SQL skills for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation.
2. ETL Testing: Experience testing data transformation logic, handling large data sets, and data reconciliation.
3. Automation Skills: Experience with scripting or using tools to automate data testing processes.
4. Strong knowledge of BI and reporting concepts, particularly tabular models and ensuring data is correctly presented in reports.
5. Understanding of CI / CD processes for testing and deployment, particularly using Azure DevOps or other similar platforms.
6. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and data accuracy.

Ideal Profile

• 5+ years of experience in data testing, data warehousing, or ETL testing.
• Experience with Kimball data warehousing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure technologies, including:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and testing pipelines.
• Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps for integration and automation testing.
• Power BI (including Paginated Reports) for validating the reporting layer.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with Data Quality frameworks or tools (e.g., DataOps practices).
• Experience with performance testing in data integration and BI systems.
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Azure DevOps to integrate QA processes into the deployment pipeline.
• Experience in asset management data domain and processes.
• Knowledge of data governance and data privacy best practices.
• Familiarity with testing APIs, especially in Azure environments.
• Experience in Cloud Security practices related to data and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues in complex systems.
