Job Title : Code 14 Truck Driver with Crane Experience

Location : Boksburg, Gauteng

Salary : Market-related (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Code 14 Truck Driver with crane operation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, operating a truck with a crane for loading and unloading, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate a Code 14 truck to transport goods to and from various locations.

Utilize a crane for loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure the truck and crane are in good working condition.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any other relevant documentation.

Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.

Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transportation.

Report any vehicle or crane malfunctions or accidents to the relevant authorities and management.

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Assist with other tasks as needed, including general maintenance of equipment and assisting with site operations.

Qualifications and Skills :

Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license.

Valid Crane Operator Certification or experience in crane operation (preferably with a Mobile Crane).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a truck driver with crane operation experience.

Good understanding of safety regulations related to truck and crane operation.

Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.

Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.

Ability to work long hours when necessary.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
