SENIOR TOUR CONSULTANT

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Senior Tour Consultant with a passion for luxury travel and an in-depth understanding of the Southern Africa region. This role offers the opportunity to work within one of the world's leading tour operating companies, recognised by prestigious awards from Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveller. The successful candidate will be responsible for itinerary design, costings, and maintaining exceptional relationships with both internal clients and suppliers.

What you'll do:

  1. Designing and costing itineraries for luxury travel experiences
  2. Liaising with internal clients and suppliers at all levels
  3. Selling Southern Africa travel packages to new enquiries
  4. Delivering exceptional client and guest relationship management
  5. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge across the luxury market
  6. Ensuring efficient and profitable operations
  7. Quality assurance of all guest travel documentation

What you bring:

  1. Experience in Southern Africa Inbound Tour Operating (5 years Southern Africa expertise preferable)
  2. CRM & Operating systems experience
  3. Travel sales experience – direct to internal business client
  4. Supplier communications and booking experience
  5. Product Knowledge, Innovation, and Development
  6. E-marketing and Social Media exposure an advantage
