Merchandising Analyst EM – Concept Stores
Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization
This role is responsible for conducting weekly product analysis and making recommendations to the business by reviewing sales & stock, best & worst sellers to maximize sales and profitability of the own channel full price store fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the merchandising analytics suite for EM Retail concept stores.
- Collaborate with Marketing and clusters to track product launches, generate reports, and provide product launch recaps. Work with the franchise team to validate partner data, deriving meaningful product insights.
- Analyze best and worst sellers, manage in-season stock cover, and provide reactive recommendations.
- Create accurate weekly and ad hoc sales reports and recaps, including brand initiative products.
- Participate in weekly trading meetings, highlighting missed opportunities.
- Identify and support promotional opportunities at various levels to maximize pre-season and in-season sales across all tiers and regions.
- Construct and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly metrics reports.
- Provide fact-based product feedback for stakeholders.
- Manage weekly sales & stock intake process, offering key insights on stock and sales.
- Evaluate seasonal options in line with space management pre-season.
- Serve as the SPOC and Power BI expert.

The Ideal Candidate
- Strong passion for product and the science of merchandising.
- Understanding of retail merchandising is essential.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel; familiarity with retail merchandising tools is a plus.
- Power BI expertise is advantageous.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into automated, insightful reports.
- Fast-paced, proactive, energetic, and effective under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong trading mindset with entrepreneurial flair.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in retail/merchandising/buying in retail or eCommerce environments.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or Economics.
- 2-3 years of merchandising experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in merchandising and/or product marketing.
