Duties:

  • Provide strategic input and financial advice to the CEO and Board.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
  • Oversee the full budgeting process and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Ensure sound internal controls, asset protection, and audit compliance.
  • Analyse financial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and investors.
  • Support strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours (CTA)
  • CA(SA)

Experience:

  • Completed SAICA Articles
  • Minimum of 10 years’ financial management experience
  • Board exposure is a MUST.
  • 6+ years exposure in core leadership or senior management role
  • Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous.
