Job description

Job Title: Certified Engineer

We are seeking a certified Engineer to join our dynamic team. Please apply if you have experience in the mechanical or electrotechnical (heavy current) fields and have obtained an academic qualification of at least N5 or T3.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision of site machinery (GMR2)
  2. Supervise planned maintenance, projects, and production job cards
  3. Coordinate electrical & mechanical installations
  4. Conduct safety inspections on equipment and plant machinery
  5. Implement corrections on faulty machinery
  6. Develop and ensure compliance with safe work procedures
  7. Understand Pressure Equipment Regulations, Electrical Machinery Regulations, Facilities Regulations
  8. Ensure machinery is designed and sized appropriately
  9. Implement control measures during engineering changes
  10. Maintain technical records as per standards and legal requirements
  11. Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance management programs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a graduate Engineer
  • Extensive PLC fault finding, programming, and installation experience
  • Experience in installing AC/DC variable speed drives and commissioning
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Minimum N6 or T3 qualification
  • Strong electrical or mechanical fault-finding skills
