Legal Aid SA - Administrative Officer

The incumbent will be appointed on a permanent basis.

The position is based in Makhado.

Position Purpose

To support Legal Practitioners and office operations by providing administrative support in accordance with Legal Aid South Africa policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Outputs
  1. Maintain the record-keeping and filing system of the Local Office.
  2. Perform office administration, switchboard, typing, and filing duties.
  3. Maintain Asset Register.
  4. Distribute reports and other documentation.
  5. Handle HR and procurement administration.
  6. Practice sound customer relations.
Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes)
  • A recognised Grade 12 (Std 10) certificate.
  • A minimum of 12 months' relevant administrative experience.
  • Understanding and application of basic computer software packages.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Remuneration

Basic Salary: Level 5 (R,.00) plus benefits per annum. A detailed curriculum vitae reflecting practical application of the position outputs and the required competencies must be submitted by close of business on 06 August, quoting the reference number MAKHADO / AO / 19 / 07 / in the subject line.
