Job description

We are a leading company in the security industry that strives for service excellence and quality products.

We require the services of a Workshop Foreman to join our team in a fast-paced and energetic environment.

The main purpose of the position is to participate in the repair and servicing of all makes and models of vehicles within the company's fleet (mainly Nissan NP, Isuzu, Hilux, Ford Ranger).

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
  1. Test drive and perform quality checks on vehicles completed by the workshop team and ensure quality work is performed.
  2. Diagnose and repair engine faults, brake systems, engine cooling systems, suspension systems, and engine assemblies.
  3. Diagnose mechanical and auto electrical problems quickly and accurately.
  4. Maintain adequate inventory of parts, equipment, and supplies used in repairing and servicing vehicles.
  5. Monitor tools, tool room equipment, and maintenance and safety practices.
  6. Complete and ensure all tasks as reflected on job cards in accordance with quality standards.
  7. Attend to all breakdowns during office hours and after hours.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
  1. 5 to 10 years of experience working independently as a workshop foreman.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :
  1. Computer literacy (MS Office).
  2. Articulate and able to communicate on all levels face-to-face and telephonically.
  3. Planning & organizational skills.
  4. Ability to deliver against deadlines and/or adapt and prioritize work output as and when required.
