Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Draw up district operations and implementation plans that align allocated targets with available resources.
  2. Create linkages with other HTS implementing partners to strengthen referral networks and ensure successful linkages.
  3. Participate in DOH DMT meetings and reviews to analyze circumcision-related indicators and ensure data appears on DHIS.
  4. Create data verification platforms between RTC and its key stakeholders.
  5. Ensure correct supply chain management systems are in place and comply with RTC SCM policies.
  6. Procure adequate surgical sundries, IEC, and VMMC kits in line with target allocations.
  7. Monitor and manage the time and attendance of all project staff.
  8. Represent RTC program objectives to district stakeholders and ensure timely reporting.
  9. Analyze project outputs weekly, monthly, and quarterly to ensure alignment with project objectives and provide clear reports.
  10. Procure all source documents utilized by project staff.
  11. Create a district training plan to address training needs and develop staff capacity.
  12. Evaluate adherence to infection prevention and control standards through periodic visits to service delivery points.
  13. Monitor district follow-up rates and ensure continuous improvement aligned with program objectives.
  14. Monitor supply chain and procurement processes to ensure compliance with RTC policies.
  15. Assess emergency management and referral outcomes to ensure appropriate client care support.
  16. Compile and submit weekly district progress reports to line managers.
  17. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for district partners and stakeholders.
  18. Review all follow-up source documents for completeness and outcome management.
  19. Review referrals with HTS partners to ensure successful linkages.
  20. Review all registers for DOH quarterly submissions.
  21. Create a roving schedule for advocacy, demand creation, and service delivery activities within the district.
  22. Conduct continuous staff appraisal and development to enhance capacity and project outcomes.
  23. Identify staff training needs and develop plans to address these.
  24. Manage staff time and attendance policies effectively.
  25. Supervise clinical staff to ensure adherence to VMMC SAG/WHO standards.
  26. Mentor and supervise project staff, ensuring proper induction and understanding of RTC policies.
  27. Create and manage a locum database to meet program staffing needs.
  28. Coordinate with the human resource department for staff development and disciplinary processes.
