Purpose of Position:

To process specimens according to set criteria and standards in the Immunology Laboratory and to assist with monitoring workflow requirements to ensure timely delivery of results.

Requirements:

BSc Honours Graduate (Required), Grade 12 (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)

Required Experience:

Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge of accreditation processes/procedures, GCP/GLP requirements, HPCSA regulations, instrumentation and methodologies, materials management, Meditech system, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), relevant pathology test procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, uphold quality control standards within the laboratory, perform allocated bench work for effective and timely results, manage stock monitoring and ordering, conduct ongoing research to stay updated on technology and products.
