Job Title: Quality Manager Representative
Well-established organization based in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Quality Manager Representative. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is advantageous.
- Experience in manufacturing or production industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Leadership & Management
- Oversee Quality Control and Quality Assurance Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Lead regular team meetings to review performance and plan activities.
Quality Management Systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001-compliant quality management systems.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with certification bodies.
- Update and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Process Improvement
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor quality metrics to track progress and identify trends.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Develop and manage a document control system for quality documents.
Supplier Quality Management
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments.
- Develop and manage supplier quality agreements.
- Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions.
- Monitor and provide feedback on supplier performance.
Customer Focus
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality.
- Develop customer satisfaction surveys.
- Work with sales and customer service teams to meet customer requirements.
- Implement corrective actions based on customer feedback.
