Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Management Accountant to join our esteemed hospitality group.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the financial operations across our hotel and food & beverage (F&B) departments, ensuring sound financial management, robust internal controls, and accurate reporting.

If you are passionate about numbers and thrive in the vibrant, fast-paced world of hospitality, we invite you to apply.Key Responsibilities : Provide strategic financial leadership and supervision to the Hotels and Food & Beverage Finance team.Oversee and verify daily revenue reconciliations for all hotel and F&B outlets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Maintain and enforce internal control systems and standard operating financial procedures across all operational units.Review, analyze, and authorize Daily Revenue and Cost Reports to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring swift resolution of any queries raised by operational teams.Prepare and post month-end journals; reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts in a timely manner.Support the Financial Controller with key accounting functions, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial statements, forecasts, and management reports.Act as a financial advisor to operational departments, promoting sound decision-making based on accurate financial data.Minimum Requirements : Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (compulsory).A relevant tertiary qualification – Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years' working experience in a similar finance / accounting role, preferably within the hospitality sector.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced level required).Solid understanding of hospitality accounting principles, revenue recognition, and cost control (highly advantageous).Ideal Candidate Profile : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proactive and solution-oriented with a collaborative approach to teamwork.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both finance and operational teamsClosing date : 21 May
