ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our team.

As the HVAC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for our clients. You will also manage a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintenance Management

• Oversee all HVAC installations and maintenance across the portfolio.
• Supervise internal and external teams.
• Assist the team with on-site fault finding.
• Prepare maintenance schedules (PPM) and asset registers.
• Liaise with tenants regarding breakdowns.
• Complete adjudication costs for approval.
• Work with appointed engineers.
• Complete small designs using various systems.
• Spec correct systems and devices with accurate calculations.
• Travel to buildings within the portfolio to assess and report on systems.
• Ensure service providers' SLAs are managed according to agreements.

Customer Service Management

• Liaise with tenants and resolve maintenance queries promptly.
• Manage tenant-landlord relationships.
• Build good relationships with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Acts.
• Control, manage, and govern processes within your area of responsibility to minimize risks.

Self-development

• Identify training needs and proactively address development gaps.
• Develop and implement personal development plans.

Staff Management

• Implement and review individual role profiles within your team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Refrigeration Trade Test - Red Seal or NQF 6 in Air Conditioning.
• Matric.
• Driver's License.
• 3-5 years experience as an HVAC technician or supervisor.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and products.
