A leading company in the aviation industry seeks a Compliance Inspector to lead inspections and regulatory assessments. The role involves ensuring adherence to industry standards, performing quality control inspections, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Align inspection processes with the organisation's strategic compliance objectives, designing comprehensive and risk-based inspection solutions from a holistic perspective. Monitor and track projects using the company's project management tools, ensuring timely completion, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement in compliance practices.
Lead complex compliance inspections and regulatory assessments with minimal oversight from the Manager, ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational policies. Perform quality control inspections and investigations in line with the Quality Assurance System.
Identify and record concerns or findings, along with evidence to substantiate issues. Ensure the acceptability of the corrective action plan provided by the auditee and that the Root Cause analysis thoroughly addresses findings. Recommend solutions to risks or findings through designated reporting channels and verify the implementation of these solutions within specific timelines.
Maintain the IQSMS Quality Module and liaise with SACAA and third-party auditors during inspections (AOC, AMO, ATO, etc.).
Guide, mentor, and review the work of Inspectors, providing constructive feedback and delegating tasks effectively. Promote teamwork, assess and optimize the performance of direct reports, and support their development.
Compile and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on AMO and QC activities, ensuring they cover compliance functions and team performance. Build and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing all safety-related matters.
