What will you do?
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with corporate clients, with a specific focus on fleets and heavy commercial vehicles.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses and prepare tailored insurance quotations aligned to complex business requirements.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding monthly targets through new business acquisition, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities within existing portfolios.
- Manage mid-term policy amendments, endorsements, and renewals efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Respond promptly to client queries and proactively manage expectations with a high level of professionalism and product expertise.
- Ensure all administrative tasks related to corporate insurance policies are completed accurately and timeously, supporting a seamless client experience.
Minimum Qualification Required
- Grade 12
- Commercial sales experience
- Full FAIS Commercial qualification
- RE5
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training must be up to date
Minimum Experience
- Proven sales track record with a minimum of 3 years broker sales experience within a commercial insurance environment either as a broker or in a business development role
- Thorough understanding of commercial insurance products
- Any client servicing related experience will be advantageous
- Any underwriting experience will be advantageous
Deliverables Include, But Will Not Be Limited To
- Building strong broker and direct client relationships
- Managing the complete Corporate client life cycle: structuring quotes, sale, policy amendments, relationship management, following up on claims & loss ratio management
- Underwriting commercial policies to determine if risk profile is acceptable and to structure cover options accordingly
- Maintain a balance between sales targets and loss ratio targets

Turnaround time
