Position: Retail Beauty Therapist
Department: Sales
Reporting to: Retail Development Manager
Location: Johannesburg North
Purpose of the Role
The role aims to provide an exceptional client experience to maximize sales and profitability, ensure operating standards are maintained, and build the retailer's brand image.
Enhance brand loyalty by delivering quality treatments and advising clients on home care to maximize product use.
Always portray La Prairie professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize Turnover, Profit, and Productivity
- Achieve sales targets monthly and annually.
- Assist in sales at events, launches, and retailer activities.
- Provide timely feedback on sales and customer issues.
- Focus on customer recruitment and retention to grow the brand.
Therapy- Follow treatment procedures to high standards.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the Beauty Room.
- Consistently update customer information and the Aurora App.
- Greet clients professionally and attend to their needs.
- Recommend treatments and resolve complaints professionally.
- Be punctual for all shifts.
- Work varying schedules and attend all training and meetings.
- Encourage bookings, repeat visits, and build client relationships.
Brand Management- Monitor competitors and industry trends.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Adhere to brand standards.
Stock Management and Store Operations- Merchandise stock per guidelines.
- Report out-of-stocks daily.
- Manage stock, prevent loss, and follow operating procedures.
- Control assets and ensure security.
Customer Experience- Provide a consistent, exceptional client experience.
- Build loyalty through personalized skincare services and advice.
- Understand various skincare brands and demonstrate product knowledge.
- Share tips, trends, and provide educational experiences.
- Evaluate and explain treatments, and advise on products.
- Drive new customer attraction.
Teamwork- Collaborate with colleagues and support events.
- Support onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain high standards and uphold company values.
Administration- Complete daily reports and tracking sheets.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Matric certificate
- Qualification in Somatology
- At least 3 years relevant retail and spa experience
- Expert skincare and makeup application skills
- Knowledge of current industry trends
- Team player, proactive learner, problem-solver
- Willing to work weekends and shifts
- Own transport
- Skincare product knowledge and understanding of business principles
- Customer service orientation, initiative, and adaptability
