Job description

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to take administrative ownership of the team, with a clear understanding of all processes and systems while managing client expectations.

Skills Required:
  1. An M&C Account Executive must possess meticulous attention to detail, driving administrative tasks seamlessly.
  2. Emphasis on managing tight deadlines and timings.
  3. Clear understanding of project plans, deadlines, next steps, and proactive flagging of concerns.
  4. Ability to work well with the broader team and form meaningful relationships.
  5. Deep understanding of the client business, competitor activity, and the account details.
  6. Support in providing input for new briefs and navigating studio processes to manage workflow.
  7. Ability to interpret brand strategies and provide insightful input.
  8. Compile competitor reports and supporting documentation to enhance creative briefings.
  9. Understanding of internal financial processes and managing financial administration on the account.
Additional Role Dimensions:
  1. Business accountability: Fully immerse in account details and understand client and competitor activities.
  2. Financial accountability: Proactively prepare financial reports.
  3. Internal relationships: Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  4. External relationships: Equip the Account Management team to meet client demands.

Experience Required:
  • 0-3 years of experience as an Account Executive (preferably in a big agency).
  • Good knowledge of media landscape (traditional - TTL, ATL & BTL & digital).
  • Proficiency in PC software: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with CHASE software is a plus.
Qualification Required:
  • Matric certificate with college or university exemption (Marketing or Advertising qualification preferred).
  • Project Management Course.
