Job description

Managed Talent Solutions, a division within Datacentrix, is looking for an Order Manager for one of their clients based in Gauteng. The Order Manager will focus on providing order management services to clients, working closely with product competency centres and field service teams, handling administration on SAP and Salesforce tools, and managing internal and external communication. This is an initial 12-month contract.

Position Info: Key Tasks
  1. On receipt of customer purchase order, process order confirmation of commercial terms.
  2. Email purchase order confirmation of commercial terms to the customer.
  3. Place purchase order with the product competency centre.
  4. Confirm purchase order delivery date based on materials, suppliers, PCCs, internal capacity, etc.
  5. Update purchase order confirmation to include the confirmed delivery date.
  6. Email purchase order confirmation with the confirmed delivery date to the customer.
  7. Attach documents to SAP (customer email and purchase order confirmation).
  8. Update the confirmed purchase order delivery date in SAP.
  9. Ensure timely release of orders and fulfillment of established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction.
  10. Monitor and resolve order issues and processing errors.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degrees focused on Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business Administration.
  • Professional experience of 1 to 2 years in purchasing and expediting.
  • Knowledge of SAP purchasing module.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Effective communication and intercultural skills to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-regional team.
  • Business fluent in English.
