Join our New Build Steering CommitteeWe are seeking expressions of interest from qualified professionals to join the Purple House New Build Steering Committee as an external member.

This is a pro bono opportunity.Purple House has secured funding to build a number of new dialysis units over the next 5 years, enabling more dialysis patients to return to their home communities.

The newly formed New Build Steering Committee will oversee, govern, and make key decisions related to these builds, along with other strategically significant infrastructure projects.About you : Extensive technical expertise in a relevant discipline such as construction, architecture, project management, or engineeringProven experience in delivering, advising on, or overseeing infrastructure projects in rural and remote areas and a thorough understanding of the related challengesIn-depth understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, quality and risk management practicesA strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to Aboriginal communitiesA desire to partner with a strong Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in support of our strategic agenda and service outcomesAbout the role : A senior person from your organisation will be designated to provide continuous and ongoing support to the committeeLeverage industry expertise to ensure Purple House's approach is comprehensive, including recommending, where appropriate, the incorporation of additional subject matter expertise or further investment to address potential gapsContribute to the review and refinement of design and construction plansEvaluate and advise on project management artifacts, reporting inputs, processes, and documentation provided by internal and external stakeholders.Identify emerging risks and offer expert guidance on risk mitigation approachesCommitment : Estimated commitment 1 day per month, including attendance at monthly 1.5 hr meetings (either online or in person) and occasional consultation and contributions as-neededThere may also be an opportunity to bid for fee-based consultation services to support the organisation's broader design and construction activities.We invite you to submit your expression of interest by 31st May .
