Permanent Position (Office based)

A proficient Spatial Design Specialist is presently sought after by a well-established retail-marketing company situated in Atlas Gardens, Cape Town. Within this role, you will work in close collaboration with the concept creative team and the client to thoroughly understand the project brief. You will be required to hand over approved artwork to the DTP department for production.

We are seeking an experienced individual with a high level of maturity, must be a self-starter, and have an above-average work ethic and can-do attitude.

Candidate Requirements

• Work experience using 3D software (SketchUp advantageous).
• Spatial or graphic design education.
• Prior work experience as a graphic designer or illustrator.
• Drawing and digital drawing skills.
• Knowledge of image editing and design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description

• Unpack client brief to generate concepts.
• Define any budget or time limitations.
• Refine image designs using illustration software.
• Manage concept approval and production timelines.

• Ensure printed illustrations meet specified colour and quality standards.
• Hand over flat artwork to the DTP department.
