Business Development Consultant

JSM Business Services is excited to partner with a leading business consulting firm in Cape Town specializing in MS business tools and A.I.

Implementation.

We're seeking a motivated and skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team and drive business growth.

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Business Development: Collaborate with management to develop strategies, identify target markets, and generate leads.
  2. Client Engagement and Consulting: Build lasting relationships, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Proposal and Deal Negotiation: Craft compelling proposals and lead successful deal closures.
  4. Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed targets with a focus on both recurring and one-time revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in tech or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Licensing and related services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; certifications are advantageous.
Personality Traits:
  • Confidence, adaptability, goal-orientation, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Remuneration & Incentives:
  • Competitive Base Salary: Starting from R17,000 for juniors and R35,000 for seniors.
  • Innovative Commission Structure: Tiered commission system, rewarding new client acquisition and MRR growth.
  • Additional Incentives: Performance bonuses, annual trips, equity options, technology allowance, and flexible work arrangements.
KPIs & Commission Structure:
  • New Client Acquisition: Secure at least 2 new clients per quarter.
  • MRR Growth: Generate a minimum of Rk in additional MRR per quarter.
  • Tiered Commission Rates: Up to 12% commission plus accelerators for exceptional performance.
