Job description

Receiving Clerk Core Functions

Receive incoming stock (including raw ingredients, perishables & non-perishables, packaging materials, dry ice, etc.).

Accurately verify quantities and condition of goods against supplier delivery notes and internal purchase orders. Maintain proper documentation and file records meticulously. Label and move stock into designated storage areas according to our systems. Flag and escalate discrepancies or quality concerns immediately.

Secondary Responsibilities
Stock Control / Inventory Support
  • Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes across both frozen and dry goods.
  • Work with operations and finance to ensure accurate stock capturing.
  • Identify variances and assist with root-cause investigations.
  • Keep stock areas clean, orderly and audit-ready at all times.
Logistics & Packing Assistance (Frozen Food Division)
  • Support the Frozen Food Business Manager in preparing insulated shipping containers.
  • Ensure correct dry ice quantities are packed per shipping requirements.
  • Follow strict SOPs on timing, temperature control and labelling for frozen orders.
  • Help stage outgoing orders accurately and on schedule for courier pickups.

Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or receiving roles.
  • Exposure to HACCP, FIFO stock management, or cold chain logistics.
Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 - 17:00).
