• Repair damaged or broken machines and equipment.

Job Description

Responsible for operating the gyro machine according to standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
• N2 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• 1 to 2 years' proven experience as a gyro operator within the FMCG environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Control and organise the gyros and conveyors.
• Ensure gyros are operational and inspections are conducted according to health and safety standards.
• Perform inspections as per issued job cards.
• Wash gyros and conveyors regularly.
• Repair damaged or broken machines and equipment.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment during weekends as per shift roster.
• Handle breakdowns across the plant with the correct tools and spares.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
