Job description

PURPOSE

The role is responsible for ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical equipment, such as crushers, gearboxes, pumps, etc.

Responsibilities

1. Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality
2. Display safety conduct at all times by wearing the correct PPE.
3. Attend pre-shift meetings.
4. Report unsafe conditions and behaviors.
5. Adhere to FA and client policies and procedures.
6. Always behave safely.
7. Maintenance and Fabrication
8. Implement maintenance schedules.
9. Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment.
10. Conduct plant inspections on key mechanical equipment.
11. Identify and prioritize equipment in need of maintenance or repairs.
12. Plan downtime for repairs and maintenance.
13. Plan for materials and personnel to assist.
14. Conduct risk assessments and study procedures.
15. Perform repairs, maintenance, and fabricate general steelwork.
