Our client is a well-established player in the wholesale sector with a national footprint. They operate in a fast-paced environment and pride themselves on delivering consistent financial excellence. The finance team is structured, supportive, and committed to high standards of compliance and reporting.
The Financial Controller will support the finance function with a focus on cost tracking, tax compliance, and consolidation of financials. The role will report directly to the Financial Manager and will assist with audits, budgeting, and financial reporting. This position offers excellent exposure across group structures and supports strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and track costs related to production and branch accounting
  • Prepare tax computations and ensure statutory compliance
  • Assist with monthly and annual group financial consolidations
  • Support financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare documentation for external audits
  • Maintain internal controls over financial reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Liaise with stakeholders on financial matters
  • Monitor and improve cost-efficiency strategies
  • Ensure financial systems and tools are effectively utilised

Requirements:

Remuneration:
R60 000 - R75 000 CTC
