Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Flexible Resource Assignment)

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic, international IT team that delivers innovation at scale? Our client in the motor industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Shopfloor domain team within the Production Visualization space. This role supports the global rollout of cutting-edge IT solutions focused on production monitoring and smart manufacturing systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll work on global deployments and DevOps initiatives that enhance transparency and performance in automotive production systems. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes
  2. Setting up and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps pipelines
  3. Deploying and configuring Kubernetes clusters via Helm
  4. Ensuring robust monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
  5. Assisting in global rollout projects and migration of legacy systems
  6. Participating in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Reviews, etc.)
  7. Collaborating with a distributed team and engaging stakeholders
Requirements
Essential Skills:
  1. Kubernetes (Helm-based deployment & configuration)
  2. CI/CD and pipeline automation (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  3. GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD)
  4. Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  5. Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
  6. Git (branching and version control strategies)
  7. Linux and scripting (e.g., Bash)
  8. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
  9. Understanding of Ops Design Patterns and Data-Driven Architecture
Advantageous Skills:
  1. Kafka
  2. Agile tools: Confluence / Jira
  3. Agile Working Model (AWM) familiarity
  4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  6. Experience conducting user research, even across language barriers
Qualifications & Experience
  1. A relevant IT Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience
  2. At least 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles
