Hire Resolve’s client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team in Gauteng.
Responsibilities
- The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for managing the Company’s Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management System (SHEQMS), including but not limited to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, FSSC22000, and AP Global Standards.
- Support the Corporate Risk Management Programme focusing on SHEQ Risks.
- Ensure SHEQMS standards and systems are established, effectively communicated, and maintained.
- Provide specialist training and support for on-site execution of Corporate SHEQ Management.
- Continuously improve the SHEQMS through effective Corrective Action Systems and Improvement Projects.
- Provide feedback to Management on SHEQMS performance.
- Manage the Document Controller and SHEQ Officer roles.
Requirements
- Matric with Maths & Science.
- Preferably a Science or Technical Qualification.
- Must hold Quality, EHS, or Risk Management qualifications.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Chemical or Gas-related industry.
- At least 5 years’ experience with SHEQ Management Systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 implementation and auditing.
- Experience in providing SHEQ training across various audience levels is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office, Email, and Adobe Acrobat.
