An Exciting Career Opportunity exists for a Production Pharmacist to be based at IPP: Longlake Reporting to the Head of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs line opening, line closing and in process checks
- Writes daily production reports and handover information
- Performs batch calculations and yields
- Ensures that non-conforming products have been handled per SOP and justification has been written where necessary
- Updates SOPs to ensure that the standard operating procedures reflects current practices
- Ensure proper gowning procedures are always adhered to
- Ensures that all operators are trained for the task they are performing
- Ensures staff are adhering to cGMP as described in the PICs GMP Guide
- Ensures adherence to current SOPs and approve changes when necessary
- Prepares, updates, reviews, and approves procedures as related to the production functions
- Leads or participates in risk assessments and validation activities, as required
- Implements and enforces the Good Documentation practices across Production
- Performs Failure investigations, and CAPA implementation as and when required
- Complete review of production batch records to ensure all batches have been manufactured in accordance with approved Master Manufacturing and Packaging Instructions, SOP’s and GMP
- Ensure In-process results of products conform to approved specifications
- Ensures any Product Quality Defect or Product Complaint is immediately reported to the Quality Assurance Department
- Ensures that the machines are set to correct process parameters and that the parameters used are validated
- Ensures that traceability of the equipment and material used has been maintained
- Assists in conducting internal audits and preparing for audits by third parties
- Adhere to and maintain HSE policies and procedures
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
- 1 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
