Job Opportunity: Pitch Coordinator in Johannesburg
We are seeking a dedicated Pitch Coordinator for our Pitch Department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end process of bid compilation, reviews, and related documentation, supporting strategic proposals and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting bid and proposal processes, including supplier registrations, tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and expressions of interest.
- Coordinating the preparation and submission of bids across various client types such as government entities, development banks, and multilateral organizations.
- Managing company documentation for bid compliance, formatting project references, CVs, and supplier forms.
- Producing professional bid documents and ensuring timely delivery.
- Developing and maintaining project timelines, agendas, and action trackers.
- Conducting opportunity searches on tender platforms like the government eTenders portal.
- Maintaining the Pitch Team Bid Library and updating SharePoint and Repstor databases.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external design agencies to produce compelling proposals.
- Supporting strategic projects and innovation initiatives such as proposal automation tools.
- Providing administrative support, ensuring confidentiality, and liaising with Pitch Administrators.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience in Marketing/Business Development, especially in pitching.
- Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Law or related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
- APMP membership is advantageous.
