Job Opportunity: Pitch Coordinator in Johannesburg

We are seeking a dedicated Pitch Coordinator for our Pitch Department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end process of bid compilation, reviews, and related documentation, supporting strategic proposals and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting bid and proposal processes, including supplier registrations, tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and expressions of interest.
  2. Coordinating the preparation and submission of bids across various client types such as government entities, development banks, and multilateral organizations.
  3. Managing company documentation for bid compliance, formatting project references, CVs, and supplier forms.
  4. Producing professional bid documents and ensuring timely delivery.
  5. Developing and maintaining project timelines, agendas, and action trackers.
  6. Conducting opportunity searches on tender platforms like the government eTenders portal.
  7. Maintaining the Pitch Team Bid Library and updating SharePoint and Repstor databases.
  8. Collaborating with internal teams and external design agencies to produce compelling proposals.
  9. Supporting strategic projects and innovation initiatives such as proposal automation tools.
  10. Providing administrative support, ensuring confidentiality, and liaising with Pitch Administrators.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in Marketing/Business Development, especially in pitching.
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Law or related fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
  • APMP membership is advantageous.
