As they continue their digital transformation journey, they are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support their SAP S/4HANA program and optimize financial processes across their retail and distribution operations.





Role Overview


As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a critical role in the implementation, enhancement, and support of the SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) landscape. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into scalable SAP solutions that meet business and regulatory needs, especially within the retail and pharmaceutical environment

RequirementsKey Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules (including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PA).
  
• Drive the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Retail, SCM, Procurement, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
  
• Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into system specifications.
  
• Conduct workshops, training, and testing activities (UAT, SIT).
  
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements in finance and accounting processes.
  
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  
• Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation.
  
• Strong knowledge of FICO core modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, controlling (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders).
  
• Deep understanding of integration with MM, SD, and retail-specific modules.
  
• Previous experience in the retail and/or pharmaceutical industry is essential.
  
• Strong business acumen in finance and accounting processes.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage stakeholders and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Central Finance (cFIN) and Group Reporting.
  
• Exposure to Retail-specific SAP modules (e.g., SAP CAR, SAP Retail, POS integration).
  
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical sector (e.g., GxP, SOX).
  

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  
• SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification is highly desirable.
