About the role

Heroes seeks a talented individual for a new position in the Supply Chain team to support Freight Operations. This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain Operations and is vital for our supply chain, financial, and commercial functions.

You will oversee daily, weekly, and monthly freight activities, ensure compliance with import/export regulations, and drive continuous improvements to maintain industry competitiveness. Success will be measured by cost efficiency, service quality, and agility in facing challenges.

Responsibilities
  1. Daily Operations & Ad Hoc Tasks:
    • Maintain daily communication with freight forwarders via the freight platform.
    • Resolve issues related to customs documentation, HT codes, duties, customs blocks, and inquiries.
    • Manage updates and changes to plans, such as GRD adjustments.
    • Check departure boards to ensure planned activities are completed.
    • Handle ad hoc queries, including freight quotes and business cases.
  2. Weekly Process:
    • Collect PO and transfer order requirements from the Planning team.
    • Consolidate POs and book containers, optimizing fill.
    • Oversee carrier billing, validate, and process invoices.
    • Support NPD by calculating freight costs and providing HTS/duty info for new products.
  3. Monthly Tasks:
    • Generate performance reports.
    • Conduct spend analysis and suggest improvements.
    • Monitor KPIs such as container utilization, freight cost per CBM, and Amazon availability.
