Investor Relations Analyst

The Team: As an Investor Relations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth of a leading Investor Relations surveillance services provider and make an immediate impact on the business and our corporate clients.

You will work within our Investor Relations division, focusing on our Surveillance and Targeting offerings.

The team is globally located with offices in New York, Raleigh (North Carolina), Cape Town, Hong Kong, London, Toronto, and Buenos Aires.

The Surveillance and Targeting division comprises ten sector teams covering the North American market and regional teams in APAC and EMEA.

Each team is led by at least one Director with over 10 years of financial industry experience, with team members of all levels contributing to success.

Our division offers a flexible work-from-home policy, with most analysts working in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Support clients with intelligence about their institutional investors and trading drivers in equity markets.
  • Provide targeting intelligence on institutional investors to assist clients' investor relations outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the investor relations and executive teams of publicly traded companies.
  • Monitor public equity markets and update clients on events affecting stocks, sectors, and the economy.
  • Identify leading institutional buyers and sellers, providing insights and context around their trading activities.
  • Engage with buy-side institutional portfolio managers and trading desks to understand investment strategies.
  • Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the team's service offerings.
What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
  • 0-5 years of financial experience or related field.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Analytical reasoning and effective communication skills in English.
  • Collaborative mindset suitable for a dynamic, inclusive team.
  • Ability to analyze data and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest and understanding of capital markets.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Resourceful and inquisitive.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, quantitative disciplines, or data analytics is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with S&P Cap IQ Pro is advantageous.
