Job summary

Job description

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for all aspects regarding company housing, service rendition, and housing administration.

KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance supervisor
  • Computer literate with capability in MS Office and related communication tools
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance
  • Effective budgeting and performance management skills
  • Planning, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintenance of housing and housing infrastructure, including site inspections, weekly schedules, preventative maintenance, and strategic planning to meet workload demands on time
  • Maintenance of villages and infrastructure, including daily cleaning activities, site inspections, and overseeing repairs to ensure timely completion
  • Financial reporting and budgeting, including budget control, tendering/quoting service providers, managing contractors, and submitting weekly operational financial updates to FM
  • Applying the company's housing policy, monitoring adherence to rental agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and informing relevant parties
