Primary Purpose Of The Job:
The Quality Engineer will ensure that the products provide a high level of quality that meets the customer's expectations. The person will be responsible for reporting and measuring the organisation's quality performance actions to address any deficiencies.
Key Performance Areas:
- Quality systems and concepts
- Manufacturing processes
- Customer specific requirements
- Understanding of a measuring report (robotic assembly of steel and aluminium automotive components)
- Core Tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control plans, and Six Sigma Green Belt
- Developing and implementing quality management systems in manufacturing industries.
- Creating and maintaining company documentation such as quality manuals and procedures.
- Troubleshooting problems or flaws in testing items.
- Analyzing, identifying, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements to enhance capability and performance.
- Collaborating with the production team to share recommendations and results.
- Maintaining calibration records for all test and inspection equipment.
- Ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices.
- Performing tests and measurements with existing equipment.
- Participating in teams to improve all process-related issues in production.
- Analyzing audit reports for recurring deficiencies and reviewing with process owners.

Minimum Requirements:
- B-Tech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Total Quality Management
- ISO Standards (Internal Auditor)
- Customer Standards and IATF
- Lean Manufacturing
- Six Sigma Tools
- Data analysis (Nexonic)
- Root Cause analysis & Problem Solving / Core Tools understanding and implementation
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years experience with press tools or assembly processes
- Minimum 5 years experience in the automotive industry
