Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.

This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation.

Your work will help maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.

Key job responsibilities
  1. SAFETY: Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and promote a safety culture. Ensure remediation of safety risks/issues with other teams. Own safety initiatives and projects.
  2. ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment such as UPSs, switchgear, circuit breakers, ATS, diesel generators, chillers, HVAC, exhaust fans, VFDs, transformers. Troubleshoot within SLAs. Take operational readings and supervise contractors. Manual handling may be required.

Qualifications
  • Basic: Knowledge of electrical competencies and theory; N6 Engineering qualification in Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of data center engineering experience; knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, controls).
