About The Role

The DevOps Engineer at Mondia Group will play a crucial role in defining, testing, implementing, and monitoring DevOps processes. The engineer will collaborate primarily with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cloud engineering and development teams to create, configure, and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines.
  2. Monitor and resolve issues proactively during the development lifecycle.
  3. Support senior engineers in integrating, configuring, deploying, and managing cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, OS, containers).
  4. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and industry best practices.
  5. Assist in release management for new software deployments.
  6. Troubleshoot security issues and support incident management.
  7. Implement and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  8. Maintain tools supporting SCM and release management, including source control, CI, and change management.
  9. Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable features that enhance developer productivity and environment monitoring.
  10. Support migration of existing Data Center infrastructure.
  11. Collaborate across teams to share capabilities and ensure platform availability and performance (SLA 99.9%).
  12. Provide service support using DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and ITIL concepts.
  13. Participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements

About You: The ideal candidate demonstrates high ownership, critical thinking, agility in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to service excellence and problem-solving. Experience in the mobile digital entertainment industry is advantageous.

Qualifications include:

  • BSc degree in Engineering or Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two cloud platforms, with AWS being mandatory (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, WAF, CloudFront, Security Groups, Subnets, Route Tables, Network ACLs, VPN, NAT Gateway, ELB).
  • Experience with AWS OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), including setup, management, and scaling.
  • Proficiency in indexing, searching, and analyzing large datasets, and using OpenSearch Dashboards.
  • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, alerting, and visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, including policy management and access control.
  • Experience automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
  • Infrastructure-as-code expertise, particularly with TypeScript AWS CDK.
  • Understanding of cloud security architecture.
  • Experience with GitLab and SSO integrations with Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: TypeScript, Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Git, Maven, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Professional experience with microservices, containers, orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
  • Knowledge of N-tier web applications and Java/Spring framework.
  • Deep understanding of Linux OS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic and OpenSearch.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong automation, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • AWS certifications are highly desirable; security certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
