Job Description

The Production Department requires a committed, hardworking, and trustworthy individual to join the team as a Shunter Driver. The successful candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities (not Limited To The Below)
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report all faults.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and safety of the vehicle.
  • Load and unload various materials and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act.
  • Ensure the safety of other road users.
  • Comply with regulations set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies, and road regulations.
Qualifying Experience
  • Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 14 license.
  • At least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to the job.
Qualifying Attributes
  • Hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional work attitude.
  • Excellent health condition.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
