Job description

We are seeking a driven Junior Accountant with a keen interest in the property management sector . The successful candidate will support the finance team in managing property portfolios, processing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Familiarity with property management systems like MDA and Xero will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities :

Process and reconcile rental income, levies, utilities, and property-related expenses.

Prepare monthly owner statements and property portfolio reports.

Maintain tenant and supplier accounts.

Assist in trust account reconciliations and audit preparations.

Support the finance team with VAT submissions and compliance reporting.

Liaise with property managers and landlords regarding financial queries.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

3–5 years accounting experience, preferably in the property sector .

Post-article experience preferred but not essential.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Experience with Xero and MDA Property Management Software is highly advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
