Job description

Are you a finance grad who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments?

Is this you?

You're a self-starter with a financial mind, ideally with a love of padel or tennis! (explains further down), and a knack for managing the unexpected. You're happy to pitch in wherever needed - whether it's analysing spreadsheets, running a tournament, or juggling international admin. You're proactive, flexible, and detail-driven, and your friends would describe you as the opposite of a "clock-watcher." You're also confident working across cultures and stakeholders - from builders on-site to auditors abroad.

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You'll work closely with the young Financial and Ops Manager to support a European-based single Family Office. Your days will vary, from maintaining financial dashboards and liaising with international auditors, to coordinating property visits and organising branded sports events. You'll assist in financial modelling, basic VAT compliance, and creative event planning, all while managing ad hoc operational requests. You'll also support the brand's social media presence and help drive visibility through sport-based engagement.

Where you'll be doing it

You'll join a small, entrepreneurial office in Greenpoint that manages dynamic, cross-border operations for an international client. It's a non-traditional, high-performance culture where adaptability, ownership, and creativity are key. With no two days the same, you'll value a role that's outside of the norm. There are flexible working hours as you'll be required to attend to work outside standard working hours, there are sporting events that you'll be assisting to co-ordinate.

What you'll need

You have a financial degree and at least 1 years' experience, or have recently completed your articles. You're fluent in Afrikaans and English (non-negotiable), and skilled in Excel, with bonus points for Sage/Xero, social media, or design know-how. You bring energy, initiative, and a cool head under pressure and you're excited by a varied, unique role.

What you'll get

You'll enjoy flexible hours and a chance to be part of a one-of-a-kind working environment.
