Job description

We are looking for an HR Assistant to support our human resources functions, including recruitment, employee records management, and HR administration.

This role requires an organized and proactive individual with strong communication skills and HR experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with recruitment, job postings, and screening candidates.
  2. Manage employee records and update HR databases.
  3. Coordinate onboarding and training sessions for new hires.
  4. Handle HR-related inquiries and support employee relations.
  5. Assist with payroll preparation and leave tracking.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  7. Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
  8. Support HR projects and daily administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in HR administration or as an HR assistant.
  2. Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Sage, or SAP).
  4. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Matric (Grade 12) Essential
  2. Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Advantageous
  3. Experience with HR systems and payroll processing
