We are seeking to appoint an Electronic Technician within the Technical and Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing electrical and electronic installations and maintenance, reporting directly to the Foreman: Electrical.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute project-driven electrical and electronic installations and maintenance according to SABS regulations.
2. Assess maintenance and electrical requirements for assigned jobs.
3. Perform electrical maintenance tasks, equipment repairs, and breakdown responses.
4. Adhere to safety procedures, operate equipment safely, and report unsafe practices.
5. Conduct regular plant inspections and implement planned maintenance schedules.
6. Perform monthly safety inspections of equipment.
7. Provide technical support to mechanical and production departments.
8. Inspect machinery for faults, including PLC, AC, and DC drives.
9. Willingness to work standby shifts based on operational needs.
