Suitable and interested applicants are invited to apply for the above position. The successful candidate will be based at the Johannesburg office and will be required to travel to other provinces and abroad as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission the Company fuel management system on various projects.
- Work within a project team under strict timelines.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting effectively.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and customers.
- Maintain records of installed equipment, vehicle logbooks, technician onsite reports (TOS), and ensure timely completion of job cards for invoicing.
- Ensure equipment maintenance, repair, and installation comply with OEM standards.
- Develop and distribute a schedule for preventative maintenance of the fuel management system.
- Assist with maintenance mini-projects.
- Support business growth through upselling additional equipment and services.
- Adhere to customer rules, health, safety, quality, and environmental policies, following all safety procedures.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends, public holidays, or after hours.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical knowledge of company products (training provided).
- Understanding of light current or instrumentation and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to make independent, proactive decisions.
- Strong interaction skills with all organizational levels.
- Fluent in English and French.
Formal Training
- Matric qualification.
- Technical diploma in Electrical (Light Current) or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience in electro-mechanical or instrumentation fields.
- Code 8 Driver’s License.
Additional Competencies
- Good health, with regular medicals as required.
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad.
