We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a professionally registered Mechanical Engineer with experience designing and managing projects in the built environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects including hospitals, clinics, commercial buildings, offices, and more.

Qualifications & Experience :

• B.Eng, BSc, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• ECSA professional registration (PrEng / PrTech)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in hospitals, clinics, commercial buildings, offices, workshops, and stores
• Experience with large-scale projects covering various mechanical systems
• Expertise in construction administration and management

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Project Management :

• Lead and execute mechanical building services designs for diverse projects
• Ensure compliance with National Building Regulations, OSHA standards, and health facility requirements
• Work on HVAC & R, Vertical Transportation, Fire Protection, Medical Gas, and related systems

Leadership & Client Engagement :

• Manage project staff, finances, and resources effectively
• Liaise with clients to build strong relationships and understand their needs
• Market and network to secure repeat business

Technical & Administrative Excellence :

• Oversee project budgeting, proposals, and reporting
• Prepare project documents for successful and timely completion
• Apply scientific methods to solve engineering problems

Skills & Competencies :

• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of construction contracts (GCC, FIDIC, NEC, PROCSA)
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects independently
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (beneficial)
