Commercial Manager / National Sales Manager

Our shipping client, based in Durban, is seeking a Commercial Manager / National Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on increasing sales performance across agencies, identifying development opportunities, and managing sales teams to enhance the client portfolio.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop commercial activities and assist in defining the commercial strategy aligned with group objectives.
  2. Organize and lead sales teams to follow up on customer portfolios and identify growth opportunities.
  3. Set objectives for local teams and monitor sales performance.
  4. Ensure effective use of marketing tools by the teams.
  5. Identify competitors and potential customers.
  6. Report weekly to the CCO/DRO and Head Office teams.
  7. Analyze market trends and potential revenues, providing recommendations as needed.
  8. Participate in business studies for service or line development with senior management.
  9. Represent the company's interests and develop relationships with major clients.
  10. Accompany sales teams during customer visits.
  11. Manage the commercial team at a national level.
Qualifications & Experience
