Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to DC.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to address electrical-related issues and support ongoing operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide feedback on breakdowns.
- Overtime support when needed.
- Control of stock and critical spares.
- Adhere to all safe working procedures.
- Perform inspection of various H&S required registers.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 Years Technical or maintenance experience with a strong knowledge of conveyors and motors.
- Red seal trade test certificate.
- PLC knowledge and programming.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical problems and performing repairs.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
- Required to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
